Stömne is easy to reach from different directions; it is located between some major Scandinavian cities. The distances are:

• Gothenburg: 240 kilometres
• Oslo: 190 kilometres
• Karlstad: 60 kilometres

There are flights from many European cities to Oslo, Stockholm and Gothenburg. From the airport you can take a train to Arvika or if you’re coming from Gothenburg to Säffle (Oslo-Arvika: about 2 hours, Stockholm-Arvika: about 4 hours, Gothenburg-Säffle: about 2 hours). From Arvika and Säffle there are busses going to Stömne. Alternatively we can organize a transfer from the airport or train station to Stömne.

Stömne is situated at road 175, north of the E18. Coming from south you follow the E 45 until you passed Åmål. Just north of Åmål you turn left towards Arvika. This road turns into the 175 near Nysätter. You follow the 175 until the first turn-off to Stömne. There you turn left and find a small parking lot on the left hand side which belongs to Stömne lodge.
